 Comets and Meteors™

Welcome to the Comets and Meteors page.  Here you will see several examples of the comets that periodically fly by our little corner of the universe.  Youll also see the meteors we call  shooting stars.  While the comets that traverse our universe appear in a variety of shapes, with tails that are often bright and spectacularmeteors have more defined and consistent shapes, and their tails appear in varying lengths.

While comets are deep space objects that only pass by our planet periodically, one or more meteors are a common night sky eventjust about every nightin all parts of our world.  Meteors are bits of interstellar material that enter our atmosphere and, more often than not, burn up and fully disintegrate from the searing heat they create on entry.  While you may only see the occasional shooting star, during major meteor showers, it is possible to see hundreds of fast moving meteors each hour.

All of my Comets and Meteors can be scaled to fit any design theme, from full size major features, that captivate the imagination, to scaled-down enhancements seen at a distance or close-up.
