Hello and welcome once again
to StarMurals. I am Rip Read – The Startist. Here’s
where I get the opportunity to tell you a few things about
myself and about the incredible 5 year development of my extraordinary
art.
For most of my adult life I have
been involved in sales, marketing, management and consulting.
I also spent many years in show business, in a variety of
roles, from the business and management side to writing and
producing. I was also a popular and well-known Las Vegas humorist…no
joke…back in the 80’s.
I’ve always been interested
in art and the arts…my entire life. Until about 5 years
ago, I had not found a special “medium” for my
creativity…now I have…and I love every minute
of it…I’m truly living my dream.
A fortuitous set of circumstances
led to my discovery of this most unique art form…and
I was instantly hooked. Extensive research revealed that
the others in this nearly unknown field had a great concept…but
everything they did was wrong…from my point of view.
I decided to make it my life’s work to evolve what others
had started into a true world-class fine art.
My Business Is Looking Up
The end result is that I have single-handedly created a highly
refined and elegant form of art from crude beginnings. I found
that all of the others were using the wrong materials, wrong
tools, wrong techniques and, most importantly, the wrong business
approach. I set out to change all of that…and it has
sure been a long and quite arduous process. But, I couldn’t
be happier with the results. I can now honestly say that I
am the world’s best star muralist…light years
ahead of the rest. My StarMurals are the absolute state-of-the-art…none
of the others, can even come close.
I am a completely self-taught artist…no formal art
education…yet my clients say my work is brilliant…many
thanks to them for supplying my training canvasses…in
the form of their ceilings, walls and other spaces…and
for trusting me and believing in my ability to deliver a dazzling
product.

Over the past 5 years I have created over 300 StarMurals in
a wide variety of settings, from master bedrooms and suites
to guest rooms and children�s bedrooms. I�ve painted
StarMurals in bathrooms, massage and meditation rooms and
many home theatres. I�ve created StarMurals in hotels,
restaurants, bed and breakfast inns, even a rotating home
and a children�s hospice. I consider every project to be a
special opportunity to design and deliver a truly unique,
one of a kind work of art for my clients.
As you can no doubt tell by
now, I love my work. It�s like I finally figured out what I
want to be when I grow up. These days there is literally
nothing I would rather do. Creating luxurious and vibrant
StarMurals in my client�s most intimate and private spaces is
truly my life�s work. I�m looking forward to having the
opportunity to design and create a very special StarMural for
you or your client, in the near future.
