Heres
a selection of excerpts, from various media
coverage, about StarMurals, and me, from over
the years. Once again, I think it would
be inappropriate for me to read these in my
voice, so youre on your ownenjoy!
The
days of asking an attractive, young person
to come home with you from a party so
they could see the stars on your ceiling
are (hopefully) long gone. Those
phosphorescent stickers are a great novelty,
but a Windsor professional can do a much
better job at approximating the night
sky on your ceiling. StarMurals
Startist Rip Read will come to your
house and turn your bedroomor living
roomor bathroomor any roominto a home
planetarium."

Read has
photographs of his StarMurals, but his
work must be seen in person to be appreciated.
Before he shows his night skies, he explains
that his stars twinkle. He promises
a multi-dimensional look and feel.
He claims that his stars are better than
the typical glow-in-the-dark products.
When he turns off the lights, his work
delivers.

Rip
is a painter, but not your average painter
and he doesnt call himself an artist,
he refers to himself as a Startist.
Rip is a muralist specializing in creating
the most beautiful and awe-inspiring views
of the night sky that you can imagine.
Like the real night sky, these masterpieces
come to life at night, with a subtle glow
that lasts all night long, featuring hundreds
of stars, shooting stars and constellations,
far away galaxies and close-ups of our
own Milky Way galaxy.
Currently Rip creates
StarMurals in private residences and special
hotel settings here in Cabo and of course
has his showroom in his new gallery at
Los Patios Hotel.
